Reserving your Wyatt Home

When you have chosen your dream Wyatt Home, our Sales Advisor will book an appointment with you to complete the reservation paperwork, this includes a checklist whereby all the important finer details of your home and the development as a whole will be explained.

A reservation form will be completed, outlining all the details of your purchase with us, such as the reservation fee, your cancellation rights and the anticipated completion date of your new home. A helpful guide will be provided to you which will explain the Legal purchasing process so that you can exchange contracts in the agreed timeframes.

Our Sales Advisors can recommend mortgage specialists and Solicitors, who in our experience and from our customers feedback, have outperformed others by being particularly helpful, efficient and knowledgeable.

Our Sales Advisors are there for you every step of the way and will be your point of contact from when you are first searching for a new home, to when keys are handed over for your new Wyatt Home.

They have regular meetings with the Site Managers so you will be kept informed how your new home is progressing and of any changes to your anticipated completion date.

We understand there can be a lot of think about when buying a new home, especially if you are selling a property too. Our in-house Sales Progressor will be liaising with your Solicitor and any estate agents involved in the chain to ensure everyone is up to speed and kept well informed along the way.

Your Sales Advisor will receive these live updates on our in-house progression system so they can advise you on every step towards exchange of contracts, saving you time and making the process as smooth as possible.

Personal touches in your Wyatt Home

Subject to your homes build stage you will be invited by the Sales Advisor to view the range of samples available in the Sales & Marketing Suite to customise your home, such as wall and floor tiles, kitchen worktops and doors to name a few.

Properties that are further progressed will already have these choices made with our specially chosen finishes that give our homes a touch of luxury that our Wyatt Homes are renowned for. Should you wish to purchase additional extras this will also depend on the build stage and our experienced Sales Advisors will go through any possible extras. Terms and Conditions apply, please speak to our Sales Advisors regarding these.

Home demonstration

When your home reaches a particular stage of construction and it is signed off by the warranty provider, you will be invited to meet the site manager, who has been overseeing the construction of your new home. They will help you to understand how your home is constructed and demonstrate to you all it’s functions and fittings.

This appointment may be before or after exchange of contracts, depending on the stage of construction.

Exchange of contracts

This is the very exciting moment where your new Wyatt Home is contractually bound to you. Exchange of contracts can take place at any time while your new home is being built.

Depending on the stage of your home, either a fixed completion date will have been agreed between you and Wyatt Homes, or you will have exchanged contracts with legal completion on notice. If this is the case, our Sales Advisor will continue to keep you fully-informed on the progress of build, until it is at a stage of construction whereby notice can be served for Legal Completion.

Legal Completion

The day you have been waiting for arrives. Final meter readings will be taken and once legal completion has been confirmed by Wyatt Homes Solicitors your Sales Advisor will be in contact to invite to you collect your keys to your new home.

You will be sent a completion handover pack containing lots of useful information about your home. This is the time to relax and enjoy your new Wyatt Home.

Customer care

Your ten year New Homes Warranty with Premier Guarantee will commence, including our two year customer care service.

The Site Manager will contact you on the seventh day of you occupying your new home to check how you are getting on and answer any questions you may have.

Following this, Wyatt Homes customer care team will be in contact to introduce themselves and will be your point of contact going forward.

At Wyatt Homes we are extremely proud of our reputation and strive to deliver superior quality homes and exemplary customer service during and after the purchase of your new home.

It is this commitment to quality that has won us many prestigious industry awards throughout our history and an enviable reputation as a first-class developer, demonstrating the high level of attention to detail we pay to each individual home.

The help to Buy agent will assess your eligibility for the scheme and issue an Authority to Proceed to you and your solicitor. Current timescales can be found on their website. Once your solicitor receives your mortgage offer they will process the relevant paperwork that Help to Buy require for an Authority to Exchange document to be issued. Current timescales can be found on their website.
