Our Process

Step 1/4: Home Demonstration

Prior to moving in, you will be invited by the Sales Advisor to attend a demonstration of your new home with the Site Manager. The Site Manager will explain how your home has been constructed and how everything works, such as the heating and all the appliance controls etc. You will also be shown the location of the meters and valves. This will allow you to feel familiar with the workings of your home before you move in.

Step 2/4: Welcome Pack

On Legal Completion, you’ll be welcomed into your new home by a member of our Site and / or Sales team and your keys will be handed to you. You will be emailed a Welcome pack, (a pdf preview can be found below), which includes all the relevant information for your home, such as emergency contact numbers, registering appliances and helpful tips. You will also be handed certificates and instruction manuals for home appliances.

Step 3/4: Structural Warranty

On Legal Completion, our 2-year Customer Care service will commence. We pledge to rectify any defects within this time. Your home also has a 10-year structural warranty with Premier Guarantee, the certificate will be provided to you by your Solicitor. This industry-regulated scheme gives you an independent resolution service, should a problem arise. Further information available here

Step 4/4: Customer Care

On the 7th day of you occupying your new home, the Site Manager will arrange to meet you, to check how you are getting on and answer any questions you may have.

Following this, our Wyatt Homes Customer Care representative will be in contact to introduce themselves, as they will be your point of contact going forward, should you need to report any defects or have any queries relating to your new home. Contact details can be found below.

Consumer Code

The consumer Code for Home Builders ("the Code") was developed by the home building industry to make the home buying process fairer and more transparent for purchasers.

The code is designed to outline your consumer rights before and after you move in to your new home and to help you know what level of service you should expect from your home builder.
